Rose milk cake | Rose Tres Leches Cake


Hello everyone today I am sharing a delicious dessert called rose milk cake. This can be also called cake pudding. I love anything with rose flavor. Here I make the cake base with rose flavor and the whipped cream also with rose flavor.. This is a rich and delicious dessert. I am sure you will love this recipe..Watch my youtube video..



Ingredients required in this recipe are:
For rose-flavored cake base:
  • Eggs-3 numbers, at room temperature.
  • Butter-100 gms.
  • Powdered sugar-1 cup (1/2 cup for egg whites)
  • Milk-1/4 Cup(at room temperature)
  • All-purpose flour /maida-1 Cup.
  • Baking powder-1 teaspoon.
  • Rose essence-1 Teaspoon.
  • Red /rose food color- a few drops.

For rose milk cream:
  • Milk-1 cup(boiled & cooled)
  • Thick cream/fresh cream-250 ml.
  • Rose syrup- 3 Tablespoons.
  • Condensed milk-1/2 cup.

For the whipped cream:
  • Whip cream powder-1 sachet (dream whip I used.)You can use whipping cream.
  • Cold milk-1/2 Cup.
  • Rose essence-1/2 Teaspoon.
  • Pistachios-for garnishing.



Method of preparation:
Preparing cake base-
  • Preheat the oven at 180-degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the cake pan by greasing with oil or butter. I used a pyrex glass pan.
  • Separate egg white and yolk in separate bowls. Beat the egg white until fluffy. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar little by little and beat until stiff peaks. Keep this aside.
  • In another bowl beat sugar and butter until creamy and light. Add egg yolks and beat well (5 minutes)until it changes color to a pale yellow.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder together. Add this to the egg yolk mixture and mix it well.
  • Add rose essence and beaten egg white in two-three additions. Fold and mix well.
  • Add a few drops of red food color and mix this well.
  • Cake batter is now ready. Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan. Level the batter and 
  • Tap the cake pan to remove air bubbles if any.
  • Bake the cake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or a tooth pick inserted should come out clean.

Preparing rose milk cream-
  • In a bowl add thick cream and condensed milk. Whisk and mix this together.
  • Add a cup of milk and rose syrup to this, mix well. Rose milk cream is now ready.

 Preparing whipped cream-
  • Take whip cream powder and milk in a bowl. Add rose essence and mix well. Beat this until stiff peaks form. You can also use whipping cream.
  • Transfer the whipped cream to a piping bag

Assembling -
  • Prick some holes in the prepared cake with a fork or toothpick. Pour two three ladles full of rose milk cream. Allow to cool down the cake and refrigerate this until chilled.
  • Pipe and top the cake with whipped cream. Garnish with some chopped pistachios.
  • Rose milk cake is ready now.. Chill this before serving.. 

Serve a piece of rose milk cake with some rose milk cream and enjoy...
