Paneer Masala | Paneer in coconut milk gravy

Today I am sharing a keto-friendly paneer recipe, which also goes well with chappathi, roti, etc.

Ingredients required in this recipe are :
  1. Paneer- 400 gms.
  2. Coconut oil-2 tablespoons.
  3. Butter- 1 Tablespoon.
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 Teaspoon.
  5. Onion paste-1/2 cup.
  6. Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  7. Coriander powder-1 Teaspoon.
  8. Red chilli powder-2 Teaspoons.
  9. Cumin powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  10. Tomato- 1 Tomato, pureed.
  11. Water-1/2 Cup.
  12. Garam masala-1 teaspoon.
  13. Kasuri methi- 1teaspoon.
  14. Coconut milk-1 Cup, Thick coconut milk.
  15. Coriander leaves- few.
  16. Salt to taste.

Method of preparation:
  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan, fry paneer cubes until golden color. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat another pan with a tablespoon of butter.
  3. Saute ginger garlic paste, onion paste for few minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix well in low flame until the raw smell of the spices goes.
  5. Add pureed tomato to this and mix well. adjust the consistency by adding water. Add salt to this and mix well. Now add fried paneer cubes &mix it well.
  6. Now add garam masala and Kasuri methi and mix well. Add coconut milk to this gravy. Cover and cook for a few minutes on a low flame.
  7. At last, add few coriander leaves and serve.
