Chilli Sausage | How to make Spicy Chiili Sausage

Sausages are a meat product usually made from ground meat, often pork, beef, or poultry, along with salt, spices, and other flavorings. Other ingredients such as grains or breadcrumbs may be included as fillers or extenders. Some sausages include other ingredients for flavor.
Sausages are a favorite dish of kids and even adults. I usually make sausage fry with Indian spices. Today I decided to make sausage in the Chinese method. Chilly chicken is one of my favorite Indo Chinese dishes. So I love to try sausage in that way and it turned out delicious. This sausage chili is a great combination with Indian bread (chappathi). Ingredients required in this recipe are:
To Marinate:
  • Chicken sausages- 1 pack,10 numbers.
  • Turmeric Powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  • Black Pepper Powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  • Red chili powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
  • Vinegar- 1 Tablespoon.
  • Soy Sauce- 1 Teaspoon.
  • Salt to taste.
Other ingredients :
  • Oil- 2 Tablespoons.
  • Garlic- 1 Tablespoon, Minced.
  • Ginger-1 teaspoon, Minced.
  • Green Chillies- 2 numbers, chopped.
  • Onion-2 onion, cut into cubes.
  • Capsicum- 1/2 Capsicum, cut into cubes.
  • Soy sauce- 1 tablespoon.
  • Tomato ketchup-2-3 tablespoons.
  • Chilli sauce-1 teaspoon.
  • Black Pepper Powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  • Red chili powder-1 1/2 Teaspoons.
  • Corn flour- 1 teaspoon.
  • Water as required.
  • Sugar- 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt to taste.
Method of preparation :
  • Marinate the sausages with salt turmeric powder, black pepper powder, red chili powder, vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of oil and fry the sausages until it is cooked and slightly browned. Keep that side.
  • Heat another pan with a tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic, ginger, green chili and saute for a minute.
  • Add Onion and capsicum to this and saute on high flame for 2 minutes.
  • Add in all the sauces , spice powders and stir well until combined.
  • In a small bowl mix cornflour with 1/4 cup of water without any lumps. Add this cornflour slurry to the gravy. Mix well.
  • Add salt and sugar to taste. Finally, add fried sausages and coriander leaves and combine well.
  • Spicy Chilli sausage is ready to serve.
