Egg Roast | Kerala Style mutta roast



Hi readers today I am going to share a simple kerala style egg roast recipe.This can be prepare with in half an hour.This egg roast is very super combination with vellayappam I shared earlier.
The taste of hot spices make this recipe awesome and delicious.I am a egg lover.:) so I am very exited to make egg recipes.I will share more and more egg recipes soon.Wait for that.Oh!! Come to point let me share egg roast recipe..

Ingredients for making egg roast:

  1. Eggs-2 numbers.
  2. Onion-2 medium sized,chopped.
  3. Ginger and garlic-Crushed,2 tablespoon.
  4. Green chillies- Slitted into two.3 to 4 numbers.
  5. Tomato-1 medium sized,sliced.
  6. Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon.
  7. Redchilli powder-1 teaspoon.
  8. Coriander powder-1 or 2 teaspoon.
  9. Garam masala powder-1 teaspoon.
  10. Curry leaves- few.
  11. Salt- about 1 teaspoon.
  12. Oil-2 tablespoon.
  13. Water- as required.
Method of making egg roast:

  1. Boil egg in required water with a pinch of salt.When it is cooked remove its shell and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.Add in crushed ginger and garlic and saute well for 1 minute.
  3. Add in chopped onion,green chillies into it,saute them for 3 minutes.
  4. Adjust salt.Now add chopped tomato into it.Saute it for 2 minutes.
  5. Add in all spice powders.Lower the flame to simmer.Add a little water to it.
  6. Cover it and cook for 5 minutes in a medium low flame.
  7. When the onions are completly cooked add in cooked eggs to it.combine well.
  8. Again cook for 2 minutes..Done..
Serving suggestions:

  • Serve it with appam.
  • Serve it with chappathis or porottas.
