
My another way of fish curry making video
Ingredients for making Neymeen curry:
- Fish-King Fish 1/2 kg cleaned cut into medium sized pieces.
- Shallots-Finely chopped 2 tbsp
- Ginger and Garlic-crushed-2 tbsp
- Green chillies-chopped (3 numbers)
- Tomato-1 medium sized (Chopped)
- Turmeric Powder-1/2 tspn
- Red chilli Powder-2 tbsp(Adjust spice according to your taste)
- Fenugreek Powder-1/4 tsp
- Cumin Powder-1/4 tsp
- Gambooge/Kudampuli-4,5 pieces.
- Curry leaves-few
- Water as needed
- Salt as needed
- Cooking Oil as needed
Method For making Neymeen curry:
- Soak kudampuli in a 1/2 cup of water and set aside.
- Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and add in fenugreek seeds.Allow it to splutter.
- Then add ginger,garlic and chopped shallots.Saute for some time.
- Add in tomatto and read chillies.. Saute well until tomato turns mashy..
- Then add all spice powders.Remember to lower th flame.Keep it in simmer.
- Then add enough water.Add in soaked kudampuli into it.
- Allow the curry to boil.When it is boiled add washed fish pieces into it.
- When the gravy becomes thick add fenugreek powder into it.
- At last add Curry leaves and turn off the flame.
- Cover it with a lid and Serve after 5 mins.
