for marination:
1 ½ kg of cubed Tuna fish , or any firm-fleshed fish
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder(kashmiri chilly )
1/2 tspfennel pwd
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
for pickle :
1 tsp turmeric powder
4 tbsp red chilli powder(kashmiri chilly )
½ tsp Asafoetida(kayam)
salt (adjust to taste)
½ cup oil (gingelly oil ) & for frying .
½ tsp black mustard seeds
½ tsp fenugreek seeds (uluva)
pods of 4 garlic & 2'' piece ginger (sliced)
2-3 green chillies, chopped (optional)
A few curry leaves
1 cup white vinegar
Salt as needed
