Hi all Today I am here with a simple non-veg snack recipe. Chicken pakora is a tea time snack made with deep frying boneless chicken. These chicken pakoras are quick and easy to make.

- Chicken- 150 gm, Boneless chicken, Cut into strips or cubes..
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon.
- Red chilli powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
- Black Pepper Powder -1/2 Teaspoon.
- Garam Masala Powder -1/4 Teaspoon.
- Lime Juice -1 Teaspoon.
- Onion -1 Large onion thinly sliced.
- Ginger -1 Teaspoon, finely chopped.
- Garlic -1 Teaspoon, Finely chopped.
- Green chillies -1 green chilly finely chopped.
- Cilantro - 1/2 cup, Chopped.
- Gram Flour/ Besan-3/4 cup.
- Rice Flour-4 Tablespoons.
- Baking soda-1/4 Teaspoon.
- Water as required.
- Oil for frying.
- Salt to taste.
Method of preparation:
- In a bowl add chicken, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. black pepper powder,garam masala powder, and lime juice. Mix it very well and keep it aside.
- Take another bowl add sliced onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, chopped cilantro, and salt. Mix it thoroughly until onion release water.
- Add Gram flour and rice flour. Mix it well. Add water little by little and make a thick batter.
- Add a pinch of baking soda and mix it well.
- Add baking soda just before frying only. Heat enough oil for frying in a frying pan. Make small balls out of the mixture.
- Add the balls into hot oil and fry over a medium heat. Fry on a medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Fry till the pakoras become golden brown color. Once it is done remove from oil and drain the excess oil.
- Serve as hot with tomato ketchup.
