Coffee Panna Cotta | Italian Dessert


Panna Cotta is a delicious Italian dessert, it’s served chilled and has a custard-like consistency,  it’s ultra creamy and slightly sweet and you can infuse many different flavors into it. Yeah, I am a coffee lover. I cannot resist anything with coffee flavor. So, Today I am gonna share coffee pannacotta recipe.

Ingredients for making coffee pannacotta are:


  1. Coffee powder-1 and a half Tablespoon,(adjust according to your flavor, I like strong coffee flavor)
  2. Heavy cream/Pouring cream-1 and a half cup.
  3. Hot water-Half a cup.
  4. Gelatin powder-1 Pack,10 gms.
  5. Vanilla essence-1 Teaspoon.
  6. Sugar-Half a cup, or adjust according to your sweetness.
  7. Chocolate syrup as needed.




Method of preparation:


  1. In a cup add a quarter cup of hot boiled water. Add in one and a half tablespoons of coffee powder.Stir it well and set aside.Coffee is ready.You can adjust the coffee strength. I want a strong flavor that's why I am adding one and a half tablespoons of coffee powder. 
  2. Take another cup or bowl. Add in a quarter cup of hot water. Add unflavoured powdered gelatine to this. Mix it well and keep it aside.
  3. Now heat a pan with one and a half cup of heavy cream.Into this add sugar and mix it well until sugar completely dissolves over a low flame.
  4. Heat about 3 more minutes and remove from flame. No need to boil it.
  5. Now add coffee mix and gelatine mix. Mix it nicely. 
  6. Add vanilla essence to this and mix well.
  7. Strain this through a strainer and allow to cool slightly.
  8. Pour the cream mixture into two bowls or molds.
  9. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.
  10. After 4 hours unmold the pannacotta by pressing at the sides.
  11. Place a plate over the bowl and flip it.
  12. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and enjoy...
