Bread Rolls | Easy Chicken & Potatoes Filled Bread Snack for iftar

Hello there...
Today I am sharing an easy bread roll recipe. I am sure kids love it and suits for iftar snack..it is typically consumed as an evening snack, or as a starters/appetizer before main course meal. hope you will like my recipe..Watch youtube video for step by step procedure.


Ingredients used in this recipe are:


  1. Oil: 2 Tablespoons.
  2. Chicken-1 Cup, boneless, cut into small pieces.
  3. Garlic-1 Tablespoon, finely chopped.
  4. Onion-1 Onion, chopped.
  5. Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  6. Black pepper powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  7. Garam Masala powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
  8. Potatoes-2 Medium sized, boiled, peeled and mashed.
  9. Red chilli flakes-1 Tablespoon.
  10. Cilantro-1/2 Cup chopped.
  11. Egg-1 beaten.
  12. Bread slices- 6 to 8 ( White or brown.)
  13. Salt to taste.
  14. Oil for frying.

Method of preparation :
Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion and salt to taste. Saute until onion becomes translucent.
Add turmeric powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder. Mix well in low flame. Add the chicken pieces and toss well. Cover and cook for few minutes or until the chicken is done.
When the chicken is done add mashed potatoes and combine well.

Add red chilli flakes, coriander leaves and salt to taste. Combine well. The filling is ready and allows it to cool. 
In a small bowl beat egg, milk and oil with a fork. Keep this aside.
 Take bread slices and cut the sides.dip the bread slice into the water just for a second and squeeze off the excess water.
Place the prepared stuffing in the centre and wrap the bread making sure to pinch the edges and secure tight. further, with the help of both hands roll and make an oval shape. deep fry the prepared bread roll into the hot oil. stir and fry occasionally on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
finally, Serve chicken and potato stuffed bread roll hot with ketchup.
