Chilli Paneer | Keto/lchf Chilli paneer | How to make chilli paneer ?



Chilli paneer is a popular starter found in most Indian and Chinese restaurants in India. Yes. this recipe works just as great with chicken, beef or even just vegetables. The only thing you want to be careful about is finding a low-carb soy sauce because a lot of them tend to contain sugar. This keto chilli paneer is magic it’s a great side dish, it’s easy to make.

Ingredients for making this recipe:

  1. Paneer- 250 gms.
  2. Garlic- 3 cloves, finely chopped.
  3. Ginger-1 Teaspoon, Finely chopped.
  4. Onion- 1/2 Cup, cubed.
  5. Capsicum-1/2 Cup, cubed.
  6. Black pepper powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  7. Green Chilli-2 Green chilli chopped.
  8. Tomato puree-1 Tomato pureed. (Use ketchup for non-keto)
  9. Soy Sauce-1 Teaspoon.
  10. Red chilli powder-1/2 Teaspoon /Red chilli sauce.
  11. Vinegar-1 Tablespoon.
  12. Coconut oil- 3 Tablespoons.
  13. Salt to taste.
  14. Spring onion greens for garnishing.

Method of preparation:

  1. In a pan heat some coconut oil or olive oil. Add paneer cubes. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Fry the paneer till each side turns golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add more oil only if needed.
  3. Saute garlic, ginger for few seconds. To this add onion, green chilies, and capsicum. Saute them on a high flame till the color start changing. Add salt to taste.
  4. Puree one tomato and add to the pan. Cook the tomato for 1 minute.
  5. Add in soy sauce, red chilli sauce(red chilli powder) and vinegar. Mix it well.
  6. Now add fried paneer cubes and toss well till the water dries up completely.
  7. Sprinkle some spring onion greens and Serve.

Serve with cauliflower rice or cucumber salad.
