Beef Cake / Beef pola recipe

Ingredients required in this recipe :

  1. Beef (Boneless)- 250 gms, washed and drained.
  2. Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  3. Red chilli powder-1 teaspoon.
  4. Water-1/2 Cup.
  5. Coconut oil-1 Tablespoon.
  6. Ginger-1 Teaspoon, Crushed.
  7. Garlic-1 Teaspoon, Crushed.
  8. Curry leaves- few.
  9. Onion-Finely chopped-1 medium sized.
  10. Green chillies-2 numbers, Finely chopped.
  11. Coconut oil-1 tablespoon.
  12. Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon.
  13. Red chilli powder- 1 Teaspoon.
  14. Garam masala powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
  15. Black pepper powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  16. Eggs- 4 numbers.
  17. Coriander leaves-1/4 cup.
  18. Ghee-2 Teaspoon.
  19. Salt to taste.

Method of preparation:

  1. Pressure cook beef along with salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and water. Drain the water and let it cool slightly.
  2. Mince the cooked beef using a chopper or grind them in a mixer grinder.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a pan and Saute ginger, garlic, curry leaves, green chillies and onion along with some salt until the onion turns transparent.
  4. Add in turmeric powder, red chilli powder,garam masala powder and black pepper powder.
  5. Mix this well in a low flame. Add minced beef to this masala and mix well. Allow this to cool completely.
  6. Beat 4 eggs in a blender jar.
  7. Transfer the beef masala to a bowl and add beaten egg. Add chopped coriander leaves, and a pinch of salt if needed.
  8. Heat a flat pan over low flame. Place a non-stick-sauce pan above the pan. Add a teaspoon of ghee and pour the beef egg mixture. Top with some coriander leaves.
  9. Cover and cook on low flame for 15- 20 minutes. Insert a knife at the centre it should come out clean.
  10. Remove the saucepan from the flame. Add a teaspoon of ghee to a flat pan. Flip the cake and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  11. Beefcake is ready now... Slice the cake and serve it with hot tea and enjoy...
