Crispy Fried chicken | How to make fried chicken

If you've wanted to learn how to make fried chicken, this is the recipe will helps you. Always a picnic favorite, this deep fried chicken recipe is delicious either hot or cold. This is not a complicated recipe. even beginners can try this recipe.

Ingredients for making this fried chicken:
For chicken marination:
Chicken-1 kg Cut into 6 pieces(with its skin)I didn't take breast pieces.
Salt to taste.
Ginger garlic paste-1 Teaspoon.
Black pepper powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
Red chilli powder-1/2 teaspoon.
Lime juice-2 Teaspoons.
For flour mixture:
All-purpose flour-1 Cup.
Oats-1/4 Cup.
Paprika powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
Oregano-1/2 Teaspoon.
Black pepper powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
Ginger garlic paste-1 Teaspoon.
Salt to taste.
For the egg mixture:
Egg-1 Large.
Milk-1/4 Cup, Boiled or pasteurised.
Red Chilli sauce- 1 Teaspoon.
Black pepper powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
Method of preparation:
  1. In a large bowl take washed & drained chicken pieces. Marinate the chicken pieces with salt, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and lime juice.  Keep this aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Take another bowl combine the all-purpose flour, oats, paprika powder, oregano, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and salt to taste.
  3. In another bowl beat egg, milk, red chilli sauce and black pepper powder together.
  4. Dip each chicken pieces in the egg mixture then roll the chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry chicken, several pieces in medium hot oil, for 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and chicken cooked completely. Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
  6. Serve with coleslaw and ketchup.
