his delicious and healthy snack recipe is made using eggs, potatoes. It is a great tea-time recipe and a perfect dish for occasions like kitty parties and picnics. Try out this quick and easy-to-make egg delicacy.
Ingredients required in this recipe are:
- Potatoes-2 boiled.
- Hard-boiled eggs- 2 numbers.
- Egg-1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons milk
- Powdered oats/breadcrumbs-1 Cup.
- Onion- 1 medium sized, finely chopped.
- Green chillies-1 number, finely chopped.
- Ginger- 1 Teaspoon, finely chopped.
- Curry leaves-few, chopped.
- Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon.
- Garam masala powder-1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
- In a bowl take two hardboiled eggs. Smash the eggs using a fork very well. Mash the potatoes and mix this together. Add finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilies, curry leaves, and salt to taste.
- Add spice powders(turmeric powder and garam masala powder).
- You can also add red chili powder. Mix this all together
- Grease your palm with little oil and make small cutlets out of this mixture.
- Beat an egg with two tablespoons of milk and add a pinch of salt.
- Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg mixture and coat with powdered oats or bread crumbs.
- Fry it in hot oil over a medium flame until golden brown.
Enjoy with tomato ketchup.
