Egg cutlets | Easy egg & potato snack recipe

Hello, readers today I am here with an easy snack with egg and potato called egg cutlets.
his delicious and healthy snack recipe is made using eggs, potatoes. It is a great tea-time recipe and a perfect dish for occasions like kitty parties and picnics. Try out this quick and easy-to-make egg delicacy.

 Ingredients required in this recipe are:

  1. Potatoes-2 boiled.
  2. Hard-boiled eggs- 2 numbers.
  3. Egg-1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons milk
  4. Powdered oats/breadcrumbs-1 Cup.
  5. Onion- 1 medium sized, finely chopped.
  6. Green chillies-1 number, finely chopped.
  7. Ginger- 1 Teaspoon, finely chopped.
  8. Curry leaves-few, chopped.
  9. Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  10. Garam masala powder-1/2 teaspoon.
  11. Salt to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. In a bowl take two hardboiled eggs. Smash the eggs using a fork very well. Mash the potatoes and mix this together. Add finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilies, curry leaves, and salt to taste.
  2. Add spice powders(turmeric powder and garam masala powder).
  3. You can also add red chili powder. Mix this all together
  4. Grease your palm with little oil and make small cutlets out of this mixture.
  5. Beat an egg with two tablespoons of milk and add a pinch of salt.
  6. Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg mixture and coat with powdered oats or bread crumbs.
  7. Fry it in hot oil over a medium flame until golden brown.

Enjoy with tomato ketchup.
