Elsa Doll Cake | whipped cream frosting | Birthday doll cake without mold

Hi there here is an easy doll cake without doll cake mold or fondant. My daughter requested me to make her favorite Disney princess character frozen Elsa. So I decided to make it simple and easy with colored whipping cream.
For this cake, I made two 7'' vanilla chiffon cake bases recipe is in my blog. I made one in blue color (by adding 1/2 teaspoon liquid blue color) and another one is in white.
If you do some pre-planning then it is easy for you to make. Make the chiffon cake a day before and the next day you can decorate the cake.

Depending on the height of the cake you can make more cakes. But I reduce the height of the cake by removing its legs.

Ingredients required for decorating doll cake:
Vanilla chiffon cake base-2 numbers.
For sugar syrup:
Sugar-1/4 Cup.
Water-1/4 Cup.
Vanilla essence-1/2 teaspoon.
For frosting:
Whipping cream-non-dairy (Vanilla flavor) - 3 cups chilled.
Blue color-liquid color(1/2 +1/4 teaspoon in total)
Other ingredients:
Elsa doll-1
Straws or skewers-3 numbers.

Method of preparation:

To make whipped cream, chill the bowl and whisk attachment in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Whip the cream on high speed until stiff peaks form.
To assemble the cake,
  1. Remove the hard crust (top of the cake) And slice into two equal layers. Keep aside.
  2. Apply some whipped cream into the cake board.
  3. Layer it alternatively ie... first keep one vanilla layer. Apply some sugar syrup to wet the cake. Top it with vanilla frost now put the blue vanilla cake and on top of it put whipping cream. Repeat it when all layers are done.
  4.  Measure the height of the cake and cut three straws. Insert the straws around the middle of the cake
  5. Carve the cake using a serrated knife in the shape of the dome.
  6. Prepare the doll by wrapping the bottom of the doll with cling wrap and keep aside..
  7. Make a small hole in the middle. Insert the Elsa doll at the center.
  8. Cover the cake with white frosting and put this cake in the fridge for them to set.
  9. Divide remaining whipping cream into 3 portions. Add 1/2 teaspoon blue color to one of them and mix well. 1/4 Teaspoon to the next one and mix well. Transfer the whipped cream to piping bags with nozzle N1.
  10. Decorate the bottom of the skirt with dark blue frosting. Middle with light blue and top with white. Make some dots in the bodice part with a dark blue color. 
you can also use edible silver pearls to decorate.
Elsa doll cake is ready.
