Custard Cookies | Vanilla Custard biscuits

Crunchy and delicious custard cookies made with custard powder, butter and flour is a simple and easy cookie recipe. Make this delicious and crunchy custard biscuit and serve as a tea time snack with a hot cup of tea.

Ingredients for custard cookies:
  1. All-purpose Flour - 1  Cup,150 gms.
  2. Custard Powder - ½ Cup(vanilla flavour) 80gms.
  3. Salt -a pinch
  4. Melter Butter – 2/3 Cup (room temperature)
  5. Egg-1 number (room temperature)
  6. Powdered Sugar – ½ Cup
  7. Vanilla Essence – 1 Tsp


Method of preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Keep aside.
  3. In a bowl beat, egg, butter, vanilla essence and sugar with a hand whisk.
  4. Sieve the flour, custard powder, and salt.
  5. Add half of the flour mixture to the butter and mix with a spatula till incorporated well.
  6. Add remaining flour mixture and mix thoroughly.
  7. Transfer the cookie dough to a piping bag with star tip nozzle. Pipe the dough to the baking tray.
  8. Or make small balls out of the dough and place it on the prepared tray.Press the cookie dough balls gently with the fork to make the marks.
  9. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  10. The cookies will be slightly lighter and soft when done.
  11. Once cooled down it will become firm.
