Bread Samosa | Cone Samosa Recipe | Ramadan Special | Lock down Snack Recipe

Hello, my readers welcome back. Today I am sharing an easy snack for iftar party. You don't need any samosa sheets and dough. This can be easily prepared with bread. you can use any other filling, here I have used chicken filling. This is a perfect iftar snack recipe.

Ingredients required in this recipe are:
  1. Bread Slices-10 -12 numbers.
  2. Egg-1 numbers.
  3. Milk-1/4 Cup.
  4. Salt to taste.
  5. Black pepper powder to taste.

To marinate chicken-
  1. Boneless chicken-200 gms.
  2. Turmeric Powder-1/4 Teaspoon.
  3. Red chili powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
  4. Garam Masala powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  5. Vinegar - 1Tablespoon.
  6. Salt to taste.

For the filling:-
  1. Oil-  2 tablespoons.
  2. Ginger garlic Paste- 1 Teaspoon. (or use crushed ginger and garlic)
  3. Green chillies- 2 numbers, chopped.
  4. Onion- 1 medium-sized onion chopped.
  5. Tomato Sauce-1 Teaspoon.
  6. Garam Masala powder-1/4 teaspoon.
  7. Red chili powder-1/2 Teaspoon. (according to your spice level.
  8. Black pepper powder-1/2 Teaspoon.
  9. Coriander leaves - few chopped.
  10. Salt to taste.

Method of Preparation:

  1. Marinate the boneless chicken with turmeric powder, red chilli powder,garam masala powder, vinegar and salt to taste. Keep this aside for 15 minutes to marinate well.
  2. Fry these chicken pieces in hot oil until thoroughly cooked.
  3. After frying the chicken, shred the chicken using a knife and fork.
  4. In the same pan as we fried the chicken add more oil if needed(1 tablespoon)
  5. Add crushed ginger and garlic, chopped green chilies, chopped onions and saute well. Also, add salt to taste.
  6. To this add shredded fried chicken and mix well. Add in tomato sauce(optional),garam masala powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander leaves chopped. Saute and mix well and cook this for 1 minute.
  7. The chicken filling is ready and allows it to cool down.
  8. Take bread slices and flatten it using a rolling pin. Trim the brown part of the bread slices and roll again make a thin sheet. Don't discard the trimmed edges. Grind it in a food processor to make crispy bread crumbs and keep that aside for coating the cone samosa. You can add oregano in bread crumbs it makes a nice aroma.
  9. Fold the bread slice in the shape of an ice cream cone by applying little water at the edges of the bread slice.
  10.  Fill the cone with 2 tablespoons of chicken filling and seal it with the help of little water.
  11. In a bowl add one large, milk, salt, pepper powder. whisk this very well.
  12. Dip each samosa in the beaten egg mixture and roll it in prepared bread crumbs. Fry them in hot oil until golden and crisp... Enjoy with tomato ketchup and enjoy... :)
