Easy Instant Breakfast Recipe | Easy Semolina dosa | Soft Rava dosa



Rava dosa is perfect for breakfast and also for dinner. This Instant Rava dosa can be served with tomato chutney or coconut chutney. This can be easily made with few ingredients that are always available in our kitchen pantry.

Serves- 8 Rava dosa
Ingredients Required in this recipe are:
  1. Semolina / Rava- 1 1/2 Cups.
  2. Yoghurt-1/2 Cup.
  3. Coconut- 1/2 cup shredded.
  4. Shallots- 3 or 4 numbers, sliced.
  5. Water- 1 1/2 Cups.
  6. Baking Soda- 1/4 Teaspoon.
  7. Ghee or oil to grease
  8. Salt- to taste.

Method of preparation:
  1. In a blender jar add semolina, yogurt, coconut, shallots, and water. 
  2. Grind them to a smooth batter. Transfer this batter to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add salt to taste and baking soda. Mix this well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and brush with oil or ghee. 
  5. Pour a ladle of batter to the hot pan. Wait for 30 seconds or bubble appear on top and bottom become golden.
  6. Flip the dosa and cook the other side too.
  7. Repeat the process for making all the dosa.
  8. Serve the Rava dosa along with Coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
