Serves- 8 Rava dosa
Ingredients Required in this recipe are:
- Semolina / Rava- 1 1/2 Cups.
- Yoghurt-1/2 Cup.
- Coconut- 1/2 cup shredded.
- Shallots- 3 or 4 numbers, sliced.
- Water- 1 1/2 Cups.
- Baking Soda- 1/4 Teaspoon.
- Ghee or oil to grease
- Salt- to taste.
Method of preparation:
- In a blender jar add semolina, yogurt, coconut, shallots, and water.
- Grind them to a smooth batter. Transfer this batter to a mixing bowl.
- Add salt to taste and baking soda. Mix this well.
- Heat a non-stick pan and brush with oil or ghee.
- Pour a ladle of batter to the hot pan. Wait for 30 seconds or bubble appear on top and bottom become golden.
- Flip the dosa and cook the other side too.
- Repeat the process for making all the dosa.
- Serve the Rava dosa along with Coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
