Ingredient required in this recipe are :
- All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 Cups.
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon.
- Salt - 1 pinch.
- Butter - unsalted,50 gms. at the room temperature.
- Powdered sugar- 1 cup.
- Egg- 3 eggs at room temperature.
- Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon.
Method of preparation :
- In a mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients such as flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well and keep this aside.
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celcius.
- In a large bowl beat together powdered sugar and butter. Add in eggs one at a time and beat until light and pale yellow in color.
- Add in vanilla and mix well.
- Add half of the flour mix (Dry ingredients) and fold well without any lumps. Then add the remaining flour mixture and mix well.
- Pour the batter to the cupcake liners in the muffin tin 2/3 way. Don't fill the cupcake liners fully because it may overflow while baking
- Tap lightly to remove air bubbles if any.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely before frosting.
