Ingredients required in this recipe are:
- Instant Coffee Powder- 3 Teaspoons.
- Hot Water-1/8 Cup,30 ml.
- Milk- 1 1/2 Cups.
- Sugar-1/3 Cup,5 tablespoons.
- Corn Flour- 3 Tablespoons.
- Milk-1/2 Cup.
- Vanilla Essence- 1 Teaspoon.
Method of preparation:
- Prepare two molds or bowls greased with ghee or oil.
- Mix instant coffee with hot water and keep aside.
- Boil 1 1/2 cup milk in a saucepan. Add sugar according to your taste and mix well.
- Add in the coffee mixture and boil well over low flame.
- Mix cornflour and milk (not hot) and mix without any lumps.
- Add this cornflour mix to the coffee milk and stir continuously. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat.
- It will become thick. Remove from heat and transfer to the prepared bowl. Spread evenly with a spatula.
- Let it cool down to room temperature. Cover it with foil paper or plastic wrap.
- Chill for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Unmold the pudding to a plate and garnish with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
